Last updated: April 26, 2026

Our Commitment

UndoDisk does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. This applies to all users, not just California residents.

What We Collect

UndoDisk collects minimal data: license activation information (license key and a one-way hardware fingerprint hash) and optional anonymous telemetry. Your files, file names, file paths, and recovery results never leave your computer.

Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected and how it is used
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

How to Exercise Your Rights

We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by law.

Telemetry Controls

UndoDisk provides a built-in telemetry toggle at Settings → Privacy. When disabled, zero data is collected and no analytics network calls are made. For users in the EU/EEA/UK or Quebec, telemetry is disabled by default and requires explicit opt-in.
